In Canada, SICE specializes in providing the communications / IT systems for major horizontal infrastructure projects, including but not limited to highways, bridges, tunnels, and any kind of transportation project such as LRTs or subways. SICE can also provide the instrumentation and monitoring either during execution, or as a structural health monitoring system for the operations phase.
SICE can work from a full design-build lump-sum back-to-back subcontract, to a unit-price subcontract with very limited risk. SICE has been involved and is currently involved in most of the landmark infrastructure projects within Canada, including the Eglinton Crosstown LRT and Finch West LRT projects in Toronto, the REM and the new Samuel de Champlain bridge in Montreal, or the Gordie Howe International Bridge and the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway in Windsor.
