Yesterday Spain-Canada Chamber of Commerce held its first #event in the west coast of Canada, at Fairmount Hotel in #Vancouver, organized along with Spain Business – Canada.

Our Ambassador Hn. Alfredo Martinez Serrano gave the welcoming remarks and guest of honour was Minister Hn. Bruce Ralston, KC.

Key note speakers Mrs. Blanca Fernandez Barjau, Head of Economic and Trade Section of the Spanish Embassy and Mr. Roger Caballero Folch, PhD, Director at the Board of Canadian Spanish Scientists Association.

Carlos Planelles, President of Spain-Canada Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of ACCIONA North America highlighted “Spain’s strategic location and well-established #transportation #infrastructure make it an ideal gateway to the European Union’s vast market of over 450 million customers.
