The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada in collaboration with the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (CICCP in Canada) hosted a memorable evening celebrating Santo Domingo de la Calzada, the patron saint of civil engineers. The event, sponsored by Aecon, Dragados, FCC, Pedelta, Sener, and Typsa, brought together approximately 65 engineers and members of the Spanish Chamber to honor their profession and network in an atmosphere of camaraderie and cultural appreciation.
It was an honor to count on the distinguished presence of the Spanish Consul Francisco de Asís Benítez Salas.
In addition to networking and celebration, the event emphasized significant aspects such as the origins of Spanish civil engineering projects in Canada and the profound impact these works have on improving people’s lives.
